"Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers" Line has been working since 1995 on the shipping market, being an exclusive line shipper for a number of big Russian and American companies.
The line provides continuous link between the eastern coast of the USA (Gulf of Mexico) and Russian Federation (Saint-Petersburg) without calls to European ports.
Today the Line's vessels makes three calls a month to the port of St.Petersburg. The volume of line shipments is 500 000 ton of general cargos annually.
The ships of "lo-ro" and "ro-ro" type are working today on the line with total tonnage about 70 000 ton. All the ships are multifunctional and have the opportunity to carry the cargos of various types. This is especially useful for the shipments of sawn timber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals for export, machines and equipment for import. There is no equivalent line in the port of St.Petersburg which is capable of shipping such off-gauge equipment.
Since the foundation of the company the Line had several shipments of cargos for very specific projects, which required to settle full range of tasks in order to guarantee the safety shipment.
